Responsibilities & Duties

Field Service & Operations

• Inspect, assess, and restock AEDs and other life-safety equipment at client sites to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
• Prepare and organize service kits, tools, and equipment ahead of scheduled site visits.
• Manage assigned service schedules while optimizing daily routes for efficiency.
• Accurately document all service activity and findings in the Heart To Beat Portal.
• Maintain sufficient supply inventory in the assigned service vehicle.
• Complete end-of-day procedures and post-route administrative tasks per company protocol.

Customer Experience

• Provide professional, timely, and courteous service to all clients.
• Represent Heart To Beat professionally during every on-site interaction.

Vehicle & Equipment

• Safely operate a company-issued vehicle and maintain a vehicle maintenance log.
• Keep the company-issued tablet updated and compliant with company policy.
• Disinfect, package, and return training equipment to the office following classes.

Training & Business Development Support

• Assist lead instructors by transporting, setting up, and breaking down equipment.
• Identify prospective locations during field work and log activity for the sales team.

Certifications & Compliance

• Obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification (training provided if needed).
• Obtain and maintain a Fire Extinguisher Inspection License as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds independently.

• Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Support monthly and year-end financial reporting.

• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Follow up on past-due invoices and manage collections.

Payroll & Benefits

Reporting to the Senior Instructor and CEO, Active Shooter Instructors are responsible for the learning of every student in their class. Instructors teach the Heart To Beat Active Shooter Course at contracted locations, with classes scheduled seven days a week, day and evening.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Organize and pack the vehicle for the contracted job and drive safely to the training location.
• Meet with the client at the time of service and assemble the classroom to required guidelines.
• Instruct Active Shooter courses in accordance with all required parameters.
• Issue and collect required paperwork and certification cards per company procedure.
• Disinfect, package, and transport all training equipment back to the office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or greater.
• Ability to speak confidently and lead lifesaving courses as a lead instructor.
• 20+ years of law enforcement experience.
• Ability to lift 30 or more pounds independently.
• Enthusiastic, responsible, articulate, and well organized.
• Flexibility across work environments and willingness to travel locally.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background screening.

Reporting to the CEO and Partner, Safety Equipment Installers handle the installation of AED and First Aid cabinets across brick, block, drywall, and plaster surfaces, and perform routine equipment maintenance. Installations take place at contracted locations, scheduled seven days a week based on client availability.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Organize and pack the vehicle for the contracted job and drive safely to the installation site.
• Consult with the client on mounting locations and advise on compliance guidelines.
• Install cabinets and associated signage into brick, block, drywall, and plaster surfaces, and stock accordingly.
• Provide overview and orientation services to the client.
• Package and transport all installation tools and equipment back to the office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or greater.
• Hold or obtain AHA or ASHI student-level certifications within the first 60 days.
• Ability to speak confidently and professionally in a business setting.
• Ability to lift 30 or more pounds independently.
• Light to moderate construction/installation experience across brick, block, plaster, and drywall.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background screening and drug test.

Instructors teach American Heart Association (AHA), American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), and Stop the Bleed courses at contracted locations, scheduled seven days a week, day and evening.

• Assemble the classroom to required guidelines.
• Instruct CPR/AED, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed courses in accordance with all required parameters.

• Disinfect, package, and transport all training equipment back to the office.

• Assist the lead instructor in moving equipment throughout the class.
